Your First Real Test Bench — Without the "Real Test Bench" Price Tag
Remember that moment you realized blinking an LED wasn't enough anymore? When you wanted to see what your circuits were actually doing? Welcome to the next level. And you get to say "I built it myself!"
KISS-Scope puts a real dual-channel oscilloscope and a full-featured signal generator on your desk for the price of a few fancy pizzas. No mysterious BNC adapters. No "where does this cable even go?" moments. Just plug the finished kit into a USB port, fire up the software, and start exploring.
What's in the Box
Two oscilloscope channels. Two probes. Two signal generator channels. Zero excuses not to finally understand what's happening in your circuits. Whether you're debugging your Arduino project, tuning a filter, or just curious why your audio amp sounds "weird," KISS-Scope shows you the invisible world of electrons doing their thing.
Built for Learning, Not Frustration
We get it — traditional oscilloscopes can feel like they were designed by engineers who forgot what it was like to be a beginner. KISS-Scope follows the Keep It Simple, Stupid philosophy that made our KISS-488 adapter a cult favorite.
The kit includes all parts needed to build a real working oscilloscope and signal generator, even including the solder. You need only supply a simple soldering iron and wire cutters, both of which can be had locally at low cost. Parts are individually bagged with notations as to the part type and the step number of the instructions. The included manual shows the assembly process step-by-step with a picture showing where each part goes.
The Windows software gives you:
- Clean, intuitive controls
- Real-time dual-channel display — watch two signals dance together
- Built-in FFT analysis — peek into the frequency domain when you're ready
- XY Mode — make Lissajous patterns and impress your friends
Signal Generator Included (Yes, Really)
Why buy a separate function generator when we can just... include one? Dial up sine waves, squares, sawtooths, and more from 1 Hz all the way to 10 KHz. It's like having a lab partner who never argues about whose turn it is to hold the probe.
Perfect For
- 🎓 Students — finally see what your textbook is talking about
- 🔧 Makers & Hobbyists — debug that stubborn project once and for all
- 📻 Ham Radio Enthusiasts — audio analysis, filter testing, and more
- 🎸 Audio DIYers — trace signals through your pedal builds
- 🤔 The Curious — because "I wonder what that looks like" is a valid reason
The Bottom Line
At $129, KISS-Scope isn't trying to replace a $2,000 bench scope. It's the friendly, affordable instrument that actually gets used — sitting right next to your soldering iron, ready whenever inspiration strikes.
